Preheat your oven to 400 F.
Rinse the cauliflower well and cut off the leaves. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and and boil the cauliflower for 20 minutes.
Drain the water and gently remove the cauliflower. Place it into a deep baking dish or on a sheet pan
Mix the salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder and paprika together in a small bowl with 2 tbsp of olive oil. Brush the marinade over the cauliflower making sure to coat it fully all around.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, then broil on high for the last 3 minutes.
For the turmeric tahini, whisk together all of the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water as needed.
Pour over the cauliflower when ready to serve and top with fresh cilantro or parsley and sesame seeds.
