Preheat the oven to 375 F
Place the salmon fillet on a parchment lined baking sheet and season with the paprika, salt and pepper. Rub the spices into the salmon.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, harissa, date syrup, garlic and salt. Mix together to form a sauce
Pour the marinade over the salmon and brush it over the top to evenly spread it. You can save some sauce to drizzle over the top after baking. If you wanted to prepare this ahead of time, you can leave the salmon marinating in the harissa date sauce in the fridge for a few hours.
When ready to bake, layer the orange slices over the top of the salmon. Lightly drizzle with olive oil
Bake the salmon for about 18-22 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on size and thickness of the salmon.
Once ready, top with any extra sauce, freshly chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice
