Cinnamon Date Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups walnuts
  • 1 tbsp light olive oil, avocado oil or coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp date syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves or cardamom
  • Pinch flakey salt

Serve with

  • Greek yogurt with fresh berries, mint leaves and date syrup
  • Over an Arugula Burrata Salad

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 F
  2. Add the walnuts to a parchment lined sheet pan and toss with the oil, date syrup and spices
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, then let cool for 10 minutes to harden
  4. Serve over a yogurt bowl or as a snack. Keep leftovers refrigerated for up to 2 weeks
