Fall is right around the corner and these apple cinnamon muffins are going to be on repeat! They’re gluten-free, dairy-free and packed with feel-good ingredients.

Apple Cinnamon Muffins
Apples + cinnamon has to be one of my favorite flavor combinations, whether it’s in oatmeal, loaves or any baked good. There’s nothing quite like starting your day off with a fresh baked muffin, and these apple cinnamon muffins did not disappoint!
The flavor and texture of these muffins is exactly what I was hoping for- sweet, moist, and melts in your mouth.

They’re made from a blend of oat flour and almond flour, AKA my favorite duo when baking gluten-free goodies. The almond flour adds the perfect fluffiness to these muffins, while the oat flour adds a little more heartiness.
These muffins are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, and are filled with delicious cinnamon flavor.

How to make apple cinnamon muffins
Finely grate your apple
My favorite apples to bake with are honeycrisp. They’re a little pricier than other varieties, but they’re the absolute best.
You can grate your apple using a box grater (I like to keep the skin on), or slice your apple then pulse it in a food processor for 30 seconds until its finely grated- my go-to method.
Whisk together the wet ingredients
- eggs
- applesauce
- light brown sugar, or coconut sugar
- olive oil
- vanilla extract
Add in the dry ingredients
- almond flour
- oat flour
- cinnamon
- baking powder
- baking soda
- salt
Bake in muffin tins, let cool and enjoy!

These apple cinnamon muffins are seriously so easy to whip up. They pack in all of the fall flavors, have the best texture, and taste delicious with a thick slab of peanut butter.
All you need is one bowl and a few pantry ingredients and you’ll end up with light & fluffy muffins.

These muffins are absolutely fantastic. I used agave as my sweetener and I folded in walnuts. Wow!!!!!
So glad you hear that, Dawn!
So delicious! Thanks to the person who mentioned they dubbed yogurt for apple sauce, we don’t get that in the country I live in so I used a greek yogurt with apple compote in it
