Sweet & savory tahini maple salmon bites! These pan-fried salmon cubes coated in a simple sweet tahini sauce make for the perfect weeknight meal with a side of rice and veggies.

Tahini Maple Salmon Bites
Salmon bites are always a go-to dinner of mine because they get the perfect crisp all around. I love them over a rice bowl with a side salad or roasted veggies, and love switching up what sauce to pair them with.
These tahini maple glazed salmon bites are sweet, savory and taste delicious over fluffy rice. They’re lightly seasoned and pan-fried, then topped with a creamy maple tahini glaze.

Since I don’t eat meat, we eat fish pretty much weekly in our house. Surprisingly, my husband prefers fish over meat, which always has me testing new ways to eat it.
Tahini is one of our favorite condiments, so naturally this sweet tahini sauce was the perfect fit to these crisp salmon bites.

How to make tahini maple salmon bites
- Start by cutting your skinless salmon into 1″ cubes and seasoning them with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper. You can add other spices like paprika or cumin, but I prefer keeping it lighter with the seasoning for this recipe
- Next, sear the salmon on a hot pan with oil for about 3 minutes per side until browned
- While that’s cooking, prepare your sauce by mixing together tahini, maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger and water
- Once the salmon is ready, transfer it to a plate and pour the tahini maple sauce on top. Garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds and serve with your favorite veggies and side of rice

This 30-minute meal is a delicious way to eat more fish and comes out so flakey and flavorful. I can’t wait for you guys to try it!

Tahini Maple Salmon Bites
Ingredients
- 1 -1 1/2 lbs salmon, skin removed
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil
- Scallions and sesame seeds, to top
Tahini Maple Sauce
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 -2 tsp water
- Salt, to taste
Directions
- Cut the salmon into 1″ cubes and toss it in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil and the spices
- Heat a large skillet on medium heat, then add in about 1-2 tbsp of olive oil
- Add the salmon cubes to the hot pan and cook for about 8-10 minutes total on medium heat, flipping the salmon every couple of minutes
- While that cooks, prepare the maple tahini sauce by whisking together all of the sauce ingredients until smooth. Start with 1 tsp of water and add more as needed to reach desired consistency. The sauce should be thick but pourable. Season lightly with salt if needed
- Once the salmon is ready, transfer it to a plate. Drizzle the tahini maple sauce on top and garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice or a salad with your favorite sides

So good! I was short on time so I just added all the ingredients and baked the salmon. The maple tahini dressing is yummy! Will definitely make this again.
My daughter asked to make Tahiti Maple Salmon bites for our Sunday family dinner. Going to make this today. Suggestion – be more specific in how much salmon based upon your stated serving size. You say 4 servings and then 1-15lbs of fish.
