It is that time of year friends! Passover is less than a week away, and I’m rounding up some of my favorite passover recipes that are so delicious on passover or all year round. Whether you’re observing the holiday or not, these naturally gluten-free recipes are SO flavorful, you wouldn’t even know they’re kosher for passover.
Most of these recipes are suitable for both Sephardic and Ashkenaz Jews, or can be modified to leave out the kitniyot- a Hebrew term that groups the foods that Ashkenaz Jews avoid during Passover including rice, legumes, and seeds. Just be sure to use certified kosher for passover ingredients, depending on what you follow in your home!
Common Substitutions
Coconut sugar: if kosher for Passover coconut sugar is harder to find, you can substitute equal parts light brown sugar.
Tahini: if you would like to make a recipe kitniyot free, almond butter would be a good substitute for tahini
Tapioca flour can be replaced with arrowroot or potato starch in most recipes.
This post includes Salads, Breakfast + Lunches, Mains, Side Dishes and Dessert categories.
